Item Buy is coming. Well maybe. Community games are the mainstay in Korea, but how does this apply to the US? Are there cultural differences that will prevent the model from catching on here - or is it just a matter of time until our culture and infrastructure catches up to Korea?

Mr. Namkoong joined NHN Corporation in June of 1999 and has since been an integral part of the company. With over 8 years of management experience in gaming and entertainment contents from Korea to the United States, Mr. Namkoong continues to explore innovative ways to deliver entertainment to the public.
Graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mr. Namkoong began his career in Samsung SDS. After joining NHN, he began managing Hangame, NHN’s online gaming arm. After a brief stint in Indonesia leading NHN Indonesia as Chief Management Officer, Mr. Namkoong returned to NHN to head a newly formed entertainment service group that evolved to Entoi, a C2C-based multimedia homepage service, where he served as the Director of its business department. In 2004, Whon returned to Hangame where he served as the Director of Hangame’s service department and then as the Head Director of Game Services.
In 2006, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer and now serves as the Chief Executive Officer for NHN USA, Inc.
