INTENIUM, a German casual game publisher, has announced its entry into the Netherlands with its joint venture within the Benelux countries. The partnership allows INTENIUM to bring its products into the Netherlands through the games platform: Screenseven.nl.
The deal is a 50:50 joint venture with another enterprise that allows INTENIUM access to the Dutch market with casual games. ”Through our new partnership in the Netherlands, INTENIUM receives in one fell swoop access to all retail distribution channels in the Benelux enabling a very rapid market entry,” says Klaus Teichmann, Partner and Sales Director of INTENIUM.
INTENIUM is already releasing games in Germany, USA, France and England. The first games will be released in the Netherlands at the beginning of March, 2008.

Following successful entry into the US, French and English markets, the Hamburg Casual Games publisher now seals a joint venture in the Benelux
Hamburg / Amsterdam, 15th February 2008 – INTENIUM, Germany´s leading supplier of Casual Games and operator of the successful games platform `Deutschland-Spielt.de´, is poised to break into the Benelux countries and the French speaking domain. With this aim, the Hamburg company is founding its own distribution subsidiary in the Netherlands. The new company is a 50:50 joint venture with a partner enterprise. After successfully establishing itself in the USA, France and England with its products, and nationally with its games platform, this move will push INTENIUM´s expansion into neighbouring countries to the west. In addition, INTENIUM will launch a
Dutch version of its games platform at `Screenseven.nl´.
