INTENIUM and dtp young entertainment start cooperation targeted at kids and teens
INTENIUM launches a separate section of its Deutschland-spielt.de portal devoted to young players – “young style” - and will release a new game on it every week.
Hamburg, February 6, 2008 – INTENIUM, the leading European casual games publisher, distributor and developer and dtp young entertainment, the leader in the sphere of computer games for young audiences, signed the agreement on online games distribution.
By February 15th, INTENIUM is launching a new “young style” section on the website of its proprietary gaming platform Deutschland-spielt.de - the most recognizable brand for casual games in German-speaking countries. “young style” is targeted at kids and teenagers and makes allowance for their special needs in regard to games and design. The section will start with five dtp young entertainment’s games (“Meine Tierpension”, “Jessy”, “My Boyfriend”, “Die Reitakademie”, “ASLE – Die Tierspürnasen”, “Die Pferdebande 2”, “Die Pferdebande 3”). More games will be added on a weekly basis.
After having established itself as a quality traditional casual games publisher, INTENIUM is expanding its audience by adding younger players. Therewith the Hamburg-based publisher addresses the fact that the share of teen players among casual gamers is increasing.
Due to partnering with INTENIUM, dtp young entertainment taps into a new distribution channel. Up to this time the company was distributing its games predominantly through retail and online-shops. By switching to Electronic Software Distribution (ESD) dtp young now obtains a direct profit from the users attached to Deutschland-spielt.de, as well as from the competence that INTENIUM has in the field.
