The man behind the art direction for the games Spiderman 2, The Sims 2 and Lego Star Wars series has joined Hidden City Games as their new Art Director for Interactive Entertainment. Phil Trumbo will be in charge of the design and functionality of Bella Sora's online world.
Bella Sora's online world centers around the company’s fairy-tale horse collectible card series, Bella Sora, and allows young girls to play casual games, customize their in-game cottage, listen to stories and color the online coloring book.
This news comes after an earlier report on Bella Sora picking up Microsoft veteran, Joshua Howard.
“The continued development and growth of the Bella Sara brand and online world has attracted some of the industry’s best talent,” said Peter D. Adkison, CEO of Hidden City Games. “Phil Trumbo, with his wealth of experience in translating top entertainment properties into compelling games, is a tremendous addition to the Bella Sara team.”
According to the press release, Trumbo got interested in the company after doing some earlier work for the company and from the constructive criticism offered by his two young daughters on the work.
