Endemol USA, the makers of hit game shows Big Brother, Fear Factor, and Who wants to be a Millionaire, has now announced a deal with I-play to bring Deal or no Deal to the US mobile market. I-play, a division of Oberon media, will be recreating the US version of the game.
A UK version of Deal or no Deal was created by Gameloft on November 2006. It became a big hit in the UK and may become another hit in the states.
Don Ryan, Senior Vice President of Publishing for Oberon Media commented: "We're very excited to be working with Endemol USA to take Deal or No Deal mobile in the US. It's a hugely popular license that appeals to a broad audience with a highly addictive format, with a lot of suspense in the show itself, which is going to translate well to the mobile version."
